The art of communication is the language of leadership

My Leadership Philosophy

I'm a community-driven leader fueled by a passion for social justice and youth empowerment. Over the years, I've learned that change doesn't happen in a vacuum. It takes action, collaboration, and a whole lot of heart.

My leadership journey has been about creating an inclusive space that enables and empowers young people to speak up for what's right, and use our voices to create a more equitable and just world.

Over the last 5 years, I’ve had the opportunity to hold leadership roles in multiple school and community-based organizations. More details about these roles:

    • Collaborated and engaged with other youth members involved in IPV awareness and prevention organizations across California to help create CPEDV’s 2023/2024 Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month campaigns.

    • Informed a toolkit for “how to be an advocate” that was distributed across California schools.

    • Delivered speeches about the need for prevention at CPEDV's Orange Day Rallies, was interviewed by many local news outlets, featured in national news reports, and led numerous legislative meetings with state assembly members.

    • Journalist resource for Youth and TDV related issues.
